³⁴ When ·the king [^LPharaoh] saw that the rain, hail, and thunder had ·stopped [^Lceased], he sinned again, and he and his officers ·became stubborn [^Lhardened their hearts]. ³⁵ So ·the king [^LPharaoh] ·became stubborn [^Lhardened his heart] and refused to let the Israelites go, just as the Lord had said through [^Lthe hand of] Moses.
